Sunday was a good day. Thanks to the Wrays’ ability to notice grass growing out of control in their neighborhood, we were able to score a lawn care “contract” at Christian Homes. It was a last-minute gig, but plenty of people of all ages showed up to cut grass, trim edges, shave hedges, blow clippings, and tote rubbish.
Working together was a blessing. We are drawing closer together and learning more about each other. And it is good to know that when it’s time to work, people are ready to go!
Looks like we can do the lawn work at Christian Homes whenever it needs it for the rest of our fund-raising period. Thank the Lord!
